    hi,

he is gorgeous but far too young to be away from his mum - they only start to walk at 3 weeks!!! please dont give hom cat milk its not good for young kittens... you need to get milk supplement - sherleys lactose milk availible from any good pet shop it is a subsitute for his mothers milk not as rich as cat milk - i would feed him on soft foods - kitten meat - i wouldnt really give biscuits for another few weeks. i would suggest fleaing him as well if he has come from a farm. if you need anything please just ask. hope he settles in well, keep us posted, susie

ahh bless!!!! yeah babies milk isnt much different - i was just worried as cat milk is far too rich at that age - and i didnt want him to have a bad tummy for you. we normally wean onto soften biscuits at 6 weeks - for fleas i would personally use one called 4fleas - the vet will try and get you to use frontline i wuould imagine - i personlly think 4fleas is better. my cousin got her pupy in a similar situation to yours and it was ridden with fleas the vet gave her frontling and it was crap - so i told her to get 4fleas - its 1 tablet and kills 99.9% of fleas in 24hrs - its really good and does work. im glad hes getting lots of tlc - he'll need it poor lilttle bugger bring treated like that by the farmer - i wish famers would get there cats done if they dont want kittens - im just glad this little one has a chance of a happy lovely life with you. keep the pics and updates coming..... and im always here if you wanna ask anything - ill alwasy try to help.

if you feel hes not getting enough, you ca take him to the milk or try bottle feeding him, you can get kitten & puppy bottles that are big enough for his small mouth!

im sure you are, he will just needa lot of tlc - as hes so young - mine dont leave mum til at least 8 weeks. at 4 weeks he should be quite capable of having it left in a bowl for him - keep it in the same place and not too far away so you can keep an eye on how much hes having - is he eating solids ok??? if not put a little in is mouth and he'll soon get the taste for it!!!! the put him to the food - i would prob put solids to him 3 - 4 times a day since he hasnt got mum - just a teaspoon at a time (more if he wants it!!!) - he might not know what to do in a litter tray so put him to it everytime hes eaten. i would def flea him soon - maria came from a farm and she had loads of fleas.... im sure the lilttle lads doing just fine - and hes very lucky to have found a loving home with you.

awww bless him, he seems to have settled in ok, he's going to rely on you for alot of things because he hasnt got his mum. you could weight him every week and record how much weight he is putting on, so you know hes developing well in that respect.

Well I took my kitten to the vets last night , , I thought it was a girl for the past few days and the vet confirmed it last night , he is a she , so she is now named Lola , he siad it is hard to sex it as being small but , I was right , when I was told when I got her she was only 2 weeks old , I didn't believe it and I recorned on 3-4 weeks , well seeing its almost a week since I've had her shes now 4-5 weeks this also being confirmed last night , shes had a does on spot on flea spray at the vets last night and shes started a worming dose , got to give it to her for another 2 days , I don't think I have to spray her anymore not for another 2 mths Thats what the bottle says ,
Well Im bottle feeding throughout the day every 4 hrsish , and she is also eatting meat , so fingers crossed she is going on well , shes booked in for injections for 4 weeks time and booked in next week just for another cheack up to see hows shes going Smile
