    tougher laws Empty tougher laws

Post by minnie Sun Aug 24, 2008 2:42 am

in todays news paper it was reported that the law are going to have tougher laws on the keeping of animals, after the incident of a rottweiler dragged a 16 month child out of a seven year olds arms . this was brought up in the court hearing. this piece also reported that the dog had not been taken out for a walk for five months and that it probably thought that the young girl had brought the dog something to play with and the dog just grabbed at the small child and would not let him go. i think that the people who owned the dog should be made accountable for not looking after the poor animal.

its ok having tougher laws, but there are ways in which people will get round them. even if a law is broken it is more than likely the person committing the crime will be let off with comunity service or a fine.
