OUR OLD MAN GEORGE

This is our old boy george, he is a border collie cross jack russel and we have had him in our family for 17years now. He is a rescue dog and after all these years he is still alive and kicking. He has never had any serious health problems, only about 6 or 7 years ago he was diagnosed with a heart murmour, he has got arthritis and is going blind and deaf but he still runs around like a puppy when we give him treats. He is so lovable and friendly, he just loves people and would have made a great P.A.T dog, but with his age he would no longer be suited due to his eye sight and hearing declining. He is no KC, as he is a little odd mix of a dog but we love him dearly and he has had a great life with us and when the time comes he will be sadly missed, but until then he is going to have all the luxuaries and comforts he can possible have.

hes a lovely old lad but just covers the carpet in the family room every time hes in there.he does not do it in the good room or the annex . just must be that carpet in that room. if he can find anything to pull on the floor he will lay on it. he has been known to pull the blind off the back door on several occastions where we lived before, hell also pull the wash basket over and he will lie on dirty clothes or wet clean or dry washing . not so much now as he cant get at the basket.
