Re: stop barking
that is right once on starts to bark they all will. you could try a startle tool to help when in these situations. find out who the culprit is first so you know who starts the other two off. once you know who it is the problem should be easily sorted out. when they bark never use their name, just say NO! the NO need to be firm and authoritive. at the same time you need to be calm and assertive, it is very important that you are for them to listen to you.
ok so, the startle tool: you can use a rattle bottle or whistle. you can put anything in a plastic bottle that will make a loud noise. it can be stones, rice, pasta, anything realy.
what to do:
as soon as the dogs start to bark, shake the bottle or blow a whistle. this will make them stop what they are doing and wonder what is happening. when you shake the bottle say NO. When they stop barking praise them all and reward them with a treat. everytime they bark, shake the bottle and say NO or simply blow the whistle. they will soon learn that they shouldnt bark in certain situations.
the startle tools are just a stimulus to start you off on the right track.
they will soon learn that when they stop barking they get love and treats, the time it takes for them to calm down will get shorter and shorter to the point where you will only have to tell them NO and will eventually given time stop most of the unwanted barking. it will take time, but if you are persistant and keep to the training then they will get it very easily.

Re: stop barking
to stop them from going to the door you can claimk the space and increase it over a period of time! all you do is stand in front of the door about 30cm away from it and if they come close tell them no and move forward so they move back. they will eventually get the drift and automatically move back if you say no, just keep at it and keep us posted!
oh yeah remember to use positive reinforcement with them, when they do something you want give them a tasty treat, could also use a clicker for instant reinforcement and always praise them when they stop barking or move away from the door!
