i use a furminator on my dogs suki is a short haired rottie so i use the medium size and titch is a long haired rottie (its a ressesive gene passed through the dam, thought to be caused by in breeding) so i use a large one on him it really does make a difference, i have laminate flooring and when i dont brush them you could make a rug out of the hair that ends up on the floor.

I use a Ancol Shedding blade weekly to remove any dead hairs and we also use a Zoom Groom and occasionally a leather mikki mitt with a soft side.
