Hello my name is robert symonds and i have been involved with dogs and training for over 20 years .
About 8 years ago i was introduced to the rottweiler breed which along with alot of people i believed and saw the rottweiler to be a very stubborn animal of low intelligence that would always be in the shade of the german shepherd for working ability that was until i saw a certain male bred by a friend of mine.
The speed and power and willingness to learn of this dog showed me that rottweilers if selected from the right breeding can actually rival and compete on a level playing field.
Three years ago this male was used at stud and heypresto i now have a very promising son (Hooch)who shows all the characteristics i saw in his father with alittle that his father did not have like the ability to learn quick and stay calm whilst possesing all his other qualitys. with this dog i hope to step up to the mark and prove my new belief that this dog can compete against the best.
At this time hooch who is from german lines is the only vpg3 /sch3 rottweiler trained /handled and currently working in the united kingdom and is eligable to enter the vpg qualifiers to qualify for the fci world allbreeds championship which would make him the first rottweiler to do so.
