    DOG BACKPACKS Empty DOG BACKPACKS

Some dogs have very high energy levels and they may need extra walks, swims in the river and runs. there are ways in which you can help drain your dogs energy by twice the amount during walks with the use of a dog backpack.
these are extreemely helpful and can be used for all breeds big and small. before your dog is fitted with a backpack, they must be health checked by your vet, be weighed and have a back examination to check for any back problems. if your dog does have back problems then they must not ever be fitted with a backpack.
if your dog gets the all clear, you can get a backpack for your dog. when you fill the backpack it must only contain a maximum of 10% of their own body weight inside, otherwise the dog may develop back problems. they are extreemly useful and i would conside using one for my rottweiler vegas when she is an adult if she doesnt get rid of her excess energy.

    hi

no i would never use one for my girls..... i think it would just get in there way - or be ripped apart when they are playing..... or end up filthy...... sorry but i dont like these....... mine just get extra long walks or have a good old fashion stick or ball thrown to wear off their energy........... think they look a bit more 'fashiony' than practical..... but thats just my opinion.........

I think suki and titch would die of embaressment if i put one of these on them, id love for them to wear one but i just dont think they would like it, there street cred would be out the window! lol one of my freinds has a collie and she thinks its great she says it gives her dog a little job and he really enjoys walking with it on he even stops outside the shop so she can put her paper in the bag! Very Happy

I have one we use on Blue and sometimes the girls. Blue really loves his on! And it means he can carry his own stuff into dog shows!! I do put weight into it, it helps to keep him well muscled up for shows.
