Vegas loves both rawhide and carrots. she seems to be ok with the carrot, even though not all of it digests (you know the outcome), but when she has rawhide she seems to get a bit of diarrhoea.

does anyone else give their dogs rawhide, does it have the same effect on them???

vegas likes to chew bits off, leave them and then go back to them, but by that time i have already picked up the carrot bits after her! she hasnt eaten a full or 1/2 carrot for ages!

I would never give mine rawhide, its so dangerous. They do love carrots though! Do you know that the cheaper/foreign rawhide is actually made from dead dogs skin from Korea/china. Evil or Very Mad

i give both of mine rawhide, pigs ears and even trotters. suki used to get a funny tummy off them but if you stick to only giving them once a week that should settel as she gets older its great for cleaning there teeth. i find they sometimes burrie it in the garden and dig it up and eat it when it has gone really soft and smelly. Very Happy
