vegas absolutely loves cheese and will vertually do anything for it. when she started to toilet outside, we would only give her a very small piece when she did a wee only and she would get a carob drop when she did the other!

she loves chicken and will sit at your feet when calving it. she cant get enough of it!

the amount of dog treats we have available in the shop is crazy. I give mine natural dog treats like pizzles, pigs ears, etc and they enjoy them but would never give them Schmackos or Rawhide.

Rawhide can not be digested by the dogs and can build up in the gut and also they can choke on it.

vegas loves the rawhide, but she only has small amounts, not too much. she does love training with the bits of cheese tho, she'll do anything for it!

    Hiya Jen,

just be careful with the rawhide and if you do give her some opt for the natural Chewdles (the white hide) as the loose almost seethrough hide comes from abroad ie usually China and you never know what skin it is :-O

Burns do some really popular treats.

Check out the natural treats ie puffed jerky, dried liver, paddywak, etc

    Hi Jen,

My dogs love the natural smoked filled bones that they do - it will not splinter and are 89p each - I will try and find a piccie so you can see - they are not like the roasted bones and keep them occupied for hours!!

Over weight dogs are not healthy dogs it is not kind to them and it puts strain on there heart and joints a vet will tell you this ,

Its not called being spoilt its been called being unkind, your being cruel and a vet will tell you this to , Treat is classed as a treat when given accordenly

thank you both hopefully we can please draw a line under this and agree that peraps this was a misunderstanding of how posts read and move forward in the friendly manner we our used to on this forum. i am happy for debates to go on over topics providing they are of fact, in the correct manner and there are no personal comments being put in.......
